Kpg Medait gets new multi-purpose hall
LIMBANG: Public Works Department (JKR) Limbang handed over the newly completed multipurpose hall to Kampung Medait’s village development and security committee on Friday.
Batu Banau Assemblyman Paulus Palu Gumbang advised the villagers to utilise the multipurpose hall well.
“With this hall, I believe the village development and security committee (JKKK) would be able to carry out various activities such as sports, community and development programme for the villagers. This is one of the government efforts to further develop community programme at village level,” he said.
Paulus added that the project costing RM350,000 was implemented under his rural transformation programme (RTP).
Earlier, he distributed ‘bubur pedas’ and Covid-19 health advisory posters from Limbang District Information Department to villagers.
Also present were JKR Limbang Division assistant engineer Mahathir Jokeni, Limbang District information officer Linda Padan and Kampung Medait’s village chief Basuni Sidop.
