SHAH ALAM: To support small and mid-sized businesses navigating through the changing work environments, Canon Marketing Malaysia (Canon) launches the Maxify GX7070 and Maxify GX6070.

These two new refillable ink tank printers are designed to deliver colour printing in high volume at a highly affordable cost for businesses. With the combination of water-resistant pigment ink, fast printing and media versatility, business owners are able to maximize operational efficiency and boost productivity.

“Workspaces are constantly evolving and Canon aims to bring the best-suited tools to help businesses pivot seamlessly,” said Canon Marketing Malaysia head of Consumer System Products Sandy Lee.

“The new Maxify printers deliver breakthrough quality and performance while keeping printing costs low to meet the needs of small and medium businesses.”

Print colour pages without having to worry about the cost. The new Maxify printers are equipped with large ink tanks and high-volume ink bottles, delivering up to 6,000 grayscale pages and 14,000 pages in colour within a full set of ink.

For businesses requiring higher print volumes, the Economy mode setting pushes output without compromising on quality and text legibility to 9,000 grayscale pages and 21,000 colour pages.

The Maxify GX7070 and GX6070 also have the ability to produce professional and vivid prints on a wide range of textures and print surfaces - envelopes, labels, glossy paper and banner paper. This flexibility eliminates the need of purchasing and maintaining another device, saving businesses even more money.

The quick-drying pigment ink on the Maxify printers can achieve laser print-like quality not found in conventional inkjet printers.

The ink delivers documents that are resistant to water, allowing any water spills to dry out without colour bleeding.

Therefore, important documents are protected from smudging when in contact with highlighter pens, or while rain-splashes.

The Maxify printers are packed with features that enhance productivity in all work environments, including hybrid models. The GX7070 unit is a four-in-one (print, copy, scan, fax) printer that is capable of holding up to 600 sheets, while the GX6070 unit is a three-in-one (print, copy, scan) printer, has a paper capacity of up to 350 sheets.

Both printers come with an automatic document feeder (ADF) that can take up to 50 sheets of the document to be duplicated or scanned for digital storage.

The digital data can be stored on computers, USB-removable storage, and mobile devices like smartphones and tablet PCs. With an additional advantage, the Maxify GX7070 has a singlepass duplex, where both sides of a two-sided document can be scanned within a single paper pass.

The Maxify GX7070 and Maxify GX6070 also spot a game-changing modular, user-replaceable maintenance cartridge that can be easily purchased over the counter in stores.

For greater ease and convenience, this design permits users to replace maintenance cartridge easily, thus minimising device downtime and cutting out the need to visit service centres.

Built with modern businesses and home offices in mind, the new refillable ink tank printers are compliant with the wired network interface and wireless connectivity.

Through the free Canon PRINT Inkjet/ SELPHY mobile app, as well as cloud printing capability, users are able to monitor, manage and operate the printers remotely.
