Lions Clubs jointly reach out to seven poor families in Sibu

SIBU: Lions Club of Sibu Pahlawan and Lions Club of Sibu Loving Care jointly reached out to seven impoverished families of singleparents here on Saturday.

Daily necessities, face masks, moon cakes in conjunction with the mid-autumn festival and stationery for pupils were delivered.

According to organising chairperson cum sponsor Wong Hie Ping, Lions Club of Sibu Pahlawan has been donating necessities to single mothers and poor families monthly since 2012.

The Covid-19 pandemic did not deter the club’s president Malcom Hii and its board of directors from distributing necessities to single mothers and poor families living at Covid-19 red zone areas here.

Also present was charter president of Lions Club of Sibu Loving Care Peter Goh.
