Regal welcomes Doremart to Tropics City mall
KUCHING: Ocean Megalink Sdn Bhd (OMSB), a subsidiary of Regal International Group Ltd (RIGL), welcomes Doremart Supermarket to Tropics City lifestyle mall at Kuching’s prime area of Jalan Song.
The supermarket hopes to bring customers a diversified shopping experience. It has an area of around 30,000 square feet, making it the largest Doremart Supermarket in Kuching.
The Doremart chain is founded by an enterprising young couple, Hii Kah Hock and Wong Su Ping, who started with a small shop in Sri Aman.
Now, the business has grown into a large-scale supermarket with eight branches in Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei and Sibu. More branches will open soon at different locations throughout Sarawak.
Its goal is to open at least five branches in Kuching District. Next month, it will welcome a new store in Samarahan District, to give customers more varieties and choices.
Doremart Supermarket was originally known as Doremon Supermarket, but was later renamed Doremart, to keep up with the latest trend, and focusing on providing customers with affordable fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood, daily necessities, stationery, toys, and hardware, among others.
The Doremart Supermarket will be located on the ground floor of Tropics City complex, which also has apartment units from the 5th to 12th floor.
The vision of Tropics City lifestyle mall is to provide their residents and customers with the ease and benefit of a ‘onestop’ leisure and green-living environment, focusing on six major life themes, namely, food, education, medical care, health, beauty wellness, culture and art, which are in line with the people’s lifestyle now.
