PICK for Miri only at health clinics, listed private facilities from Monday

MIRI: The Covid-19 National Immunisati­on Programme (PICK) for this division would only be carried out at health clinics and private health facilities beginning this Monday (Nov 15), as all public vaccinatio­n centres (PPV) would by then be officially closed.

According to Miri Division Disaster Management Committee (MDDMC), the decision was made following a discussion with Miri Health Office.

“Following the new arrangemen­t, those who have not received Covid-19 vaccine or wish to get a booster dose may contact any of these listed clinics or private health facilities,” it said in a statement.

The public can call Tudan Health Clinic on 085-664 650 or 016-904 0816 (WhatsApp); Miri Health Clinic on 085-412 322 or 010-3711358 (WhatsApp); Bekenu Health Clinic on 085-719 003; Batu Niah Health Clinic on 085736 046 / 085-737710) or Tun Abang Haji Openg Health Clinic on 013-526 2082; Marudi Mother and Child Health Clinic on 085755 259; Beluru Health Clinic on 011-6313 2717; and Long Lama Health Clinic on 019-801 0814.

The listed private health facilities are Klinik Lee (085-436 411 / 433 253); Klinik Dinamik Miri (085-433 381); Klinik U.N.I Miri (019-329 2420 / 085-656 081); Borneo Medical Centre Miri (012-584 9335); Columbia Asia Hospital Miri (085-437 755); Miri City Medical Centre (085-426 622); and KPJ Hospital Miri (085649 999).

“For those in the rural areas, they may go to any health clinic for vaccinatio­n, and contact any government health clinic listed for booster dose. We also wish to advise everyone to remain vigilant and always comply with all the standard operating procedures (SOP) to prevent the spread of Covid-19,” said MDDMC.
