KUALA LUMPUR: HELP University and the Mobius Group have jointly announced their commitment to use their resources in skilling and upskilling Malaysians on data science.

Following the recent announcement, HELP University and Mobius Group kicked started a series of six free short courses and webinars which included Analytics with Excel 101, Analytics for Everyone, Data Transformation in Business and Evolution of Education.

“This series which was conducted by panels of industry experts had attracted over 350 participants from various sectors from students to first-jobbers, employees to business owners and lecturers from universities.

“The key objective of these initiatives is to impart and elevate the understanding of data science, its impact on career and business development,” said a press release by HELP University yesterday.

With many individuals and businesses living under the cloud of the pandemic over the most part of 2020 and 2021, HELP University opines that their effort will help those who have recently lost their jobs and livelihoods.

It will also help new jobseekers who want to broaden their career horizon as well as businesses that aim to be data-driven organisations and embrace Industrial Revolution 4.0.

“Data science will help them to understand their data and gain insights into challenges and opportunities that their organisations face,” said the press release.
