Free downloadable toolkit, open-source beginner’s guide for creative industries
KUCHING: The Hubs For Good Toolkit is a free and opensource beginner’s guide for those managing or seeking to set up creative hubs in Malaysia.
It is aimed at providing future hub managers or existing hub managers who wish to upscale their management skills with the unique set of tools to support them in their journey.
The toolkit is available in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Made up of best practice examples, case studies and experiences, the toolkit contains a unique set of seven worksheets and 11 types of resources to aid hub management and project planning.
It will also provide readers with information on the different ways to navigate hub legalities and partnerships in Malaysia.
The author of the toolkit is Ali Alasri, a research assistant at Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Creative Arts.
Commissioned by the British Council and Yayasan Sime Darby, it is a collaboration with Malaysian creative hubs to foster the development of creative industries in Malaysia.
