Bomba hosts ‘Majlis Santuni Raya Aidilfitri’
MIRI: The central headquarters of Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (Bomba) held its first ‘Majlis Santuni Raya Aidilfitri’ at Batu Niah fire station on Tuesday.
According to the Batu Niah station chief Rary Binjie, the event was attended by 35 personnel and served as a platform for senior officers at the central headquarters level to get together with members and officers from selected stations statewide.
It also aimed at strengthening friendship among the department personnel in the spirit of celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year, he said.
Also present was Bomba Putrajaya Integrity Unit head Morni Mamat who later presented Excellent Service Award (APC) to auxiliary fire officer Mohd Luqman Haikal Janis from Batu Niah fire station.
