Taiwan Expo will be back in Malaysia next month
KUALA LUMPUR: Taiwan Expo will be back in Malaysia with a hybrid exhibition from August 27, 2022, after a two-year hiatus.
Expo organiser, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), said registration is now open for oneon-one online business meetings that provide the perfect platform for Malaysian businesses to build closer cooperation with their Taiwanese counterparts that can spearhead the postpandemic growth for Malaysian companies.
“Building on the momentum of outstanding results of the past five years’ events, Taiwan Expo in Malaysia 2022 is bringing in more than 160 Taiwanese manufacturers across six main themes,” TAITRA said in a statement today.
The themes include Industry 4.0 & Green Economy, Smart Medical, Smart Agriculture, Halal, Taiwan Lifestyles, as well as Talent, Tourism & Financial Services.
It said the exclusive one-on-one e-business matching sessions will be conducted on August 3 to 5.
TAITRA said the Industry 4.0 & Green Economy theme taps into Taiwan’s expertise as a leading global precision manufacturing industry hub and will be showcasing a wide range of products and solutions in the fields of automation, smart manufacturing and sustainable development.
Featured manufacturers include Hiwin Mikrosystem, an expert in linear motor and positioning control solutions, and is also the first manufacturer in Taiwan with the capability to mass produce linear motors.
For the Smart Medical exhibition zone, it is subdivided into three areas: Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion, Smart Medical Display Technology Theme Pavilion, and Pavilion for Innovative & Intelligent Healthcare.
It said Taiwan’s most advanced telemedicine solutions and stateof-the-art medical equipment will be showcased in these pavilions.
It includes, among others, Innolux Corporation’s Naked-eye 3D display solution for surgery, Advantech’s iWard smart ward solutions, iTeleMed telemedicine solutions, RTLS (Real-TimeLocation-System) and AMiS Medication Cart.
Meanwhile, the Smart Agriculture exhibition area focuses on fresh produce and cold chain logistics solutions from Taiwan, involving companies such as iAmech Technology, a smart logistic partner for many well-known e-commerce businesses, retail supermarkets, apparel distributors, medicine suppliers and other manufacturers around the world.
TAITRA said iAmech has an office in Malaysia to provide timely aftersales services to ensure total satisfaction. — Bernama
