Agmo IPO oversubscr­ibed by 120.15 times

KUCHING: Malaysian Issuing House Sdn Bhd (MIH) recently announced that the initial public offering (IPO) of Agmo Holdings Bhd (Agmo) by the Malaysian public were oversubscr­ibed by 120.15 times.

Agmo’s IPO comprises a public issue of 85 million new ordinary shares which were made available for applicatio­n in the following manner: 16.25 million new shares available for applicatio­n by the Malaysian public; 6.5 million new shares available for applicatio­n by our eligible directors, key senior management, employees, and business associates of Agmo and its subsidiari­es; and 62.25 million new shares available for private placement to selected investors.

A total of 14,277 applicatio­ns for 1,968,708,500 new shares were received from the Malaysian public, representi­ng an oversubscr­iption rate of 120.15 times.

A total of 5,309 applicatio­ns for 585,393,100 new shares were received under the Bumiputera category, representi­ng an oversubscr­iption rate of 71.05 times, whilst 8,968 applicatio­ns for 1,383,315,400 new shares were received under the other Malaysian public category, representi­ng an oversubscr­iption rate of 169.25 times.

Meanwhile, the total of 6.5 million new shares available for applicatio­n by eligible directors, key senior management, employees, and business associates of Agmo and its subsidiari­es were fully subscribed.

The Placement Agent has confirmed that the 62.25 million new shares made available for applicatio­n by way of private placement to selected investors have been fully placed.

Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd is the principal adviser, sponsor, underwrite­r and placement agent for the IPO exercise.

The notices of allotment will be mailed to successful applicants on or before August 17, 2022.
