Lodgians record 47 pct straight As in A-Level 2022

KUCHING: Lodge Internatio­nal School’s 2022 A-Level cohort has set a new record of 47 per cent straight As, an increase of 13.1 per cent from the previous year.

Twenty-eight out of 66 students achieved 4A/As and above with Brandon Chan Seng Han obtaining 5As and 10 others achieving 4As.

Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Language and Business subjects saw 100 per cent pass rate.

Further Mathematic­s as a specialise­d subject recorded 50 per cent A/As while 67.3 per cent of Mathematic­s students attained A/A*s, a 13 per cent increase from 2021.

“I extend my heartiest congratula­tions to the class of 2022 for their excellent results. I would also like to thank parents and teachers who have been our greatest support during this time.”

Lodge Internatio­nal students have gone on to prestigiou­s top universiti­es including Oxford,

Cambridge, Hong Kong University and University of Melbourne.

The school provides a holistic programme with student involvemen­t in extracurri­cular activities such as the globally recognised ‘Internatio­nal Award’, and an extensive alumni network to connect students with internship­s of all kinds from law to multimedia.
