Azam brings gamificati­on, motivation to career devt

KUCHING: Today’s youths ought to upskill in order to strengthen their career prospects and profession­al developmen­t, said Angkatan Zaman Mansang (Azam) Youth Developmen­t Commi ee chairman Mohd Ariff Irwani.

Speaking at the Azam Youth Capacity Building Programme here Saturday, Mohd Ariff said the programme could guide the youths once they step into the working world.

Such upskilling programme, he added, will help young graduates in identifyin­g critical career advancemen­t skills, developing so skills – positive a itude and proactive behaviour, and also guiding them towards a balanced emotional well-being.

This career developmen­t workshop is one of the various activities lined up under Azam’s youth developmen­t programme led by Consultant of Positive Impression­s principal Ariff Irwani.

Sixteen young working graduates aged between 22 and 30 years from the private sector, state government-linked agencies, Sarawak Developmen­t Institute (SDI) and Azam Toastmaste­rs Club took part in this programme.

In this workshop, participan­ts were pi ed against one another in competitiv­e simulation board games based on career advancemen­t quests and personal growth journey.
