Azam brings gamification, motivation to career devt
KUCHING: Today’s youths ought to upskill in order to strengthen their career prospects and professional development, said Angkatan Zaman Mansang (Azam) Youth Development Commi ee chairman Mohd Ariff Irwani.
Speaking at the Azam Youth Capacity Building Programme here Saturday, Mohd Ariff said the programme could guide the youths once they step into the working world.
Such upskilling programme, he added, will help young graduates in identifying critical career advancement skills, developing so skills – positive a itude and proactive behaviour, and also guiding them towards a balanced emotional well-being.
This career development workshop is one of the various activities lined up under Azam’s youth development programme led by Consultant of Positive Impressions principal Ariff Irwani.
Sixteen young working graduates aged between 22 and 30 years from the private sector, state government-linked agencies, Sarawak Development Institute (SDI) and Azam Toastmasters Club took part in this programme.
In this workshop, participants were pi ed against one another in competitive simulation board games based on career advancement quests and personal growth journey.
