Motorcyclist killed in collision with car
SARIKEI: A 27-year old man was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and a car at KM79 of Sarikei-Betong Road here Monday night.
Saratok police chief DSP Mordani Tanin identified the deceased as Lowis Sebau from Rumah Luang Empaong in Krian, Saratok.
“The fatal accident occurred at 7.20pm when the victim, who was travelling towards Saratok from Sarikei, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a car driven by a 33-year-old woman, who happens to be from his longhouse.”
Mordani added that the body was sent to Saratok Hospital for post-mortem.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
Both motorcycle and car involved in the accident would be sent for Puspakom testing, added Mordani.
