Syafinaz Selamat tells social media followers to ignore posts that they find annoying
KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Datuk Syafinaz Selamat has asked social media followers to ignore her posts if they find it annoying.
Syafinaz, who is one of the judges on reality show Gegar Vaganza, said she wants to live a happy life without having to get people’s advice on her lifestyle.
“If you like it, follow. If not, just swipe (ignore),” she told Kosmo.
She was responding to brickbats from social media users on the outfit worn by her during the show on Sunday, said to be too revealing and not suitable for public viewing.
Defending her dressing, Syafinaz said her image has been like that for the longest time.
“This is me from last time. I will be 50 next year. I do not wish to have my life controlled by anyone,” she said.
“If you like what you see and are happy with me, follow. If you are unhappy, just ignore,” she added, noting that all are within our choice. Syafinaz also urged people not to have opinions about everything.
