Sg Lumut pair win pickleball monthly tourney
KUCHING: Mohd Amirul Ismaili and Hasbullah Ahmad of Sungai Lumut beat Ruslan Bujang and Ashley Ng of RB Homestay and Farms 11-7, 11-6 to win the inaugural RB Homestay & Farms Monthly Medal Pickleball Tournament at RB Homestay & Farms in Santubong recently.
In the semifinals, Sg Lumut beat Buntal’s Annie Sebli and Kenny Lim 13-11, 5-11, 11 - 7 while RB Homestay & Farms beat Santubong’s Ahmad Rodzli Hashim and Azizul Jainadin 11-9, 11-5.
The champions received RM50, a trophy and medals while the runners-up received RM40 and medals. Third placing Buntal received RM30 plus medals and the fourth placing Santubong collected RM25 and medals.
Twelve players representing six teams took part in the oneday competition organised by RB Homestay and Farms.
The other teams were Kelab Rekreasi Berimbah and Sungai Jaong.
