ELEV8: Edisi Artisan opens entries for locals

SARIKEI: Entries are now open for ELEV8: Edisi Artisan – a platform for locals to venture into entrepreneurship or expand their businesses.

The ELEV8: Edisi Artisan programme runs from Nov 26-Nov 27, alongside Sarikei Pineapple and Fruits Festival 2022 which kicks off Nov 26 and ends Dec 4.

Organised by Sarawak Multimedia Agency and Sarikei Innovation Centre (SIC), the programme will take place at SIC main hall here.

According to the organisers, there will be a training workshop from 9am to 12 noon on the first day of the programme (Nov 26).

This workshop will guide the participants on how to sell their handicrafts or products using e-commerce platforms.

Also on the same day, handicraft-making sessions which include mat-weaving as well as making bead key chains and food covers will take place from 2pm to 5pm. Each handicraft class is limited to 20 participants.

Activities lined up for Nov 27 include Fireside Chats, Panel Sessions and Networking Hi-Tea for the participants of the programme.
