No plans to build new Native Court complex in Mukah — Sikie
ALL SET FOR DUN
Bawang Assan assemblyman Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh makes his way to the DUN chamber for the sitting.
THERE is no plan to build a new Native Court complex in Mukah as there is sufficient space in the district offices for native court cases.
Minister in Premier of Sarawak’s Department Datuk John Sikie Tayai said there is ample space at the Mukah, Dalat, Matu, Daro and Tanjung Manis district offices.
He was responding to a question posed by Abdul Yakub Arbi (GPS-Balingian) on the status of the new Mukah native court complex in the State Legislative Assembly yesterday.
He informed that there are 24 accumulated native court cases in Mukah with six staff handling them, two cases in Dalat with two staff handling them, three cases in Matu with six staff handling them, nine cases in Daro with three staff handling them, and five cases in Tanjung Manis with seven staff handling them.
