Tropics City presents token of appreciation to local police station

-

Tropics City executive director Nicholas Wong yesterday presented a token of appreciation to Sekama Police Station personnel.

Station chief ASP Will Jihem was present to receive the token on behalf of his personnel.

The ceremony was to thank personnel from the station who had acted promptly upon being notified of a fire that had broken out in a contained area at Tropics City’s construction site at Jalan Song recently.

According to Tropics City management, the station’s fast response in arriving at the scene and regulating the traffic at the area had contributed to smooth traffic flow which in turn enabled Fire And Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel to arrive on scene without much obstacle.

“The prompt action by Bomba and the police department contributed to the whole incident being contained efficiently, and the strategic location of the project meant that help could be despatched with ease and arrived in a short time,” said Tropics City in a statement.
