Car, motorcycle damaged in house fire
A fire broke out at a house at Jalan Tiong Hua in Mukah yesterday morning but no injury was reported.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), in a statement, said a distress call was received at 11.15 am and immediately dispatched five firefighters and three Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) to the scene.
“The fire involved a motorcycle and a car parked in front of the house, which suffered 50 and 30 per cent respectively,” the statement said.
The firefighters ended the operation at 11.32am.
The cause of the fire and damage ascertained are yet to be determined.
