Pustaka Sibu holds Makersmeet programme

SIBU: The Sarawak State Library Sibu (Pustaka Sibu) is holding the Makersmeet Programme 2022: Makers & Hobbies Mini Carnival from today till Nov 27 and is open to public from 10am to 5pm.

The programme puts Pustaka Sibu in the role of promoting creativity as it serves to give guidance on how to develop and maintain special interests and hobbies.

The programme also serves as a platform to share and showcase particular interests and skills with the public while encouraging creativity.

Among activities being held include Makers Spot – Woodworking; Creation Station – Arts and crafts DIY; Up-cycling and Textiles; STEM Spot – Robotics and Electronics; Hobbyist Zone – Toys collection; pet exhibition; culinary; music; gardening; games and Trade & Learn Zone. There will also be food and drink stalls by local vendors.
