Methodist Pilley Institute to offer SPM English 1119 classes

SIBU: Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) will be offering SPM ENGLISH 1119 (CEFRaligned) classes beginning Jan 2023.

In a press release yesterday, it said the class is offered to equip Form Five and or Form Four students to familiarise themselves with the new Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) English Language paper examination format introduced in 2021.

“Learners will be guided stepby-step, to excel in mastering the latest format and techniques in the four different components of language learning, namely Reading and Use of English (Paper 1), Writing (Paper

2), Speaking (Paper 3), and Listening (Paper 4).

“Overall, students will be able know their international level of English language proficiency based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR),” the press release said.

Classes will be held every Saturday from 2pm to 5pm except on public holidays.

The tuition fee is RM60.00 per month.
