MIRI: Pullman Miri Waterfront rang in the Christmas season last Friday with its dazzling annual tree-lighting ceremony.

Hotel executive assistant manager Andy Pian said this would mark the hotel’s seventh year of the annual Christmas tree-lighting event celebration since it began operation in 2016.

He conveyed his appreciation on behalf of the hotel management to its supportive business partners, corporate clients, government representatives, media friends and loyal regulars for all the love and support that they had received since the hotel’s establishment.

It is a season to be grateful, and on behalf of the management and staff at the hotel, I would like to express our utmost heartfelt gratitude to all who are present here today,” Andy said in his speech to kickstart the ceremony to over 180 invited guests from all sections of the community.

The festivities then continued as all the invited guests cheered and applauded when the sixteenfoot Christmas tree, which took the hotel’s team days to adorn with shiny ornaments and twinkling fairy lights in the mesmerizing festive hue of red and gold – illuminated the lobby.

Guests were ushered into Pullman Kitchen and treated to the hotel’s Christmas Semi Buffet Dinner, which consists of the traditional festive season offering such as lamb leg, beef ribs, baked salmon, turkey roulade, Beef Wellington, salmon wellington, mouth-watering desserts, and many more.

The beautifully arranged festive spread was diligently prepared by the hotel’s Executive Chefs and their Kitchen Team to give the most memorable experience for the guests.

While enjoying their dinner, the guests also had the chance to have a closer view of their festive sweet and savoury treats which are also available for purchase at their festive goodies’ booth located right in the heart of the lobby, such as Ginger Bread House, Candy Canes, Christmas Praline, Christmas Swirl Lollipops, Santa Claus Chocolate, Gingerbread Cookies, Red Velvet Cookies, Christmas Cinnamon Cookies, Traditional Christmas Fruit Cake and many more.
