Dango Book Share launched

KUCHING: The Dango Book Share project has been officially launched at Pustaka Negeri Sarawak.

Its objective is to encourage the donation of books by the community.

It is based on a give-and-take concept whereby members of the public can donate used or new books and they can also take books that have been donated to Dango Book Share.

The project was officially launched yesterday by Librarians Associatio­n of Malaysia council member Datu Dr Rashidah Bolhassan.

Also present were first vice president Japri Bujang Masli and Librarians Associatio­n of Malaysia Sarawak Group chairperso­n Salina Zawawi.

There was also a reading session by Japri and a talk session with by Rashidah at the event.
