PBB Tamin: Edwin able to bring continuous devt to Selangau

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tamin branch expressed their solid support for newly elected Selangau MP Edwin Banta.

PBB Tamin branch chief Meyu @ Mew Beruang said they believed Edwin would bring continuous developmen­t to Selangau.

“As a component of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), we are very happy and proud of Edwin’s victory in the 15th general election (GE15).

“We are certain that he will bring a lot of developmen­t to Selangau in the next five years,” he said when chairing the PBB Tamin meeting at PBB Selangau operations room here Saturday.

A total of 30 branch members a ended the meeting.

Meyu said in the recentlyco­ncluded election, GPS was not just able to wrest back Selangau but also won at two polling centres – SK Kuala Pelugau in Lemai and Rumah Jangit Lanting at Igu in Tamin.

“We always lost in the two polling centres in previous elections. The votes from the two centres contribute­d to Edwin’s big majority in the election,” he said.

Therefore, he congratula­ted all PBB Tamin members for fulfilling their responsibi­lities and giving their unwavering support to ensure Edwin’s victory in the election.
