JCI Miri holding 60th anniversary dinner this Dec 16
Junior Chamber International (JCI) Miri will hold its 60th anniversary dinner at Imperial Hotel here on Dec 16 this year.
Its vice president Michelle Toh, who is also the organising chairperson, said this is their first significant event in two years since the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The 60th anniversary is not an easy milestone to reach. Everything is dependent on the previous directors’ efforts and contributions which have elevated JCI Miri to one height a er another.
“This is not going to be an easy path. Previous directors have contributed their time and energy because everyone has a shared aim of leading and providing a platform for young people to develop and learn.
“Nevertheless, I am convinced that the style and perseverance of the previous directors will be inherited and learned, and that the new generation will be motivated to continue,” she said.
Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin has been invited to be the guest of honour at the event.
Toh said those interested in JCI are also invited to a end the celebration, themed ‘Gatsby Style’.
