Maxis Business Spark Engage series continues to put spotlight on digital transformation
KUALA LUMPUR: Continuing to drive insightful conversations on digital transformation to empower Malaysian businesses, Maxis held its popular Maxis Business Spark Engage forum for enterprises to gain an advantage in an accelerating yet uncertain digital landscape.
At the event held recently in Kuala Lumpur, Maxis led a panel session that explored the topic of “The Winning Formula to Build an Uncertainty Advantage”.
The panelists, featuring Maxis’ head of corporate and SME segment Kevin Lee, Palo Alto Security’s Asia Pacific field chief security officer Ian Lim and Holiday Tours’ vice president of operations Lawrence Annies, discussed key components needed to achieve such an advantage.
These include accelerating tech adoption, automating manual tasks, securing digital assets, and the benefits of partnering with the right IT solutions provider.
This year’s spotlight discussion featured a special guest, thirteen-time Grand Prix winner David Coulthard, who shared his insights with renowned F1 journalist and author Lee McKenzie on how technology had transformed the world of F1 racing.
In resonating with the very competitive business environment, Coulthard emphasised the importance of trust, teamwork and passion in using real-time data to ensure precision and optimum results, as well as best practices that can be applied to any business.
“Digital transformation is a continuous journey and there’s always something new to discover in this tech-driven environment.
“This is why Maxis Business’ Spark series has grown into an important platform that provides an opportunity for businesses of any size to deep dive into important issues that can be addressed collectively, discuss solutions and benefit from insightful knowledge and experiences,” said Lee.
This is the fourth year that Maxis has organised the Maxis Business Spark series, a platform to discuss challenges and share insightful knowledge in the digital economy.
Spark Engage 2023 marks the newest iteration of the event, which continues to serve as a valuable opportunity for businesses to learn from industry experts, network, and collaborate with peers.
The exclusive forum attracted a diverse range of prominent business leaders comprising chief IT officers, directors, and heads of IT departments representing major SMEs, large corporations and government organizations.
