Lucky draw highlight of SCR Corp’s 36th anniversary event
KUCHING: A lucky draw offering attractive prizes, including a Proton Saga 1.3L Standard AL unit, is the highlight of the Singapore Chicken Rice (SCR) Corporation Sdn Bhd’s 36th anniversary celebration.
The event took place at the SCR Xpress outlet in Emart Tabuan Jaya Mall here on March 18, where Kuching South mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng performed the draw of lots.
In his remarks later, Wee congratulated SCR for reaching this milestone and continuing to serve its customers for nearly four decades.
“Sarawak products are the best, far exceeding the imported products.
“They are fresh, but more importantly, they are the products of our Sarawakian companies,” said the mayor after the announcement of the names of the lucky draw winners.
There are 25 winners of the 20th prize, which is a SCR RM100 gift voucher; 20 winners of the 19th prize, which is SCR RM200 gift voucher; 15 winners of the 18th prize, the SCR RM250 gift voucher; 10 winners of the 17th prize, the SCR RM300 gift voucher; five winners of the 16th prize, which is a Sharp 1,600W vacuum cleaner; five winners of the 15th prize, a Sharp 20-litre mechanical oven; five winners of the 14th prize, a Sharp 46-litre electric oven; five winners of 13th prize, a SCR RM500 gift voucher; five winners of the 12th prize, a Sharp 5-litre air-fryer; and five winners of the 11th prize, which is Sharp’s ‘Party Speaker System’;
There are three winners of the 10th prize, a Sharp 160-litre chest freezer; three winners of the ninth prize, a Sharp 42-inch full-HD LED TV; three winners of eighth prize, a Sharp 280-litre two-door refrigerator; three winners of the seventh prize, a Sharp 10.5kg washing machine; two winners of the sixth prize, a Sharp 50-inch full-HD Google TV; two winners of the fifth prize, a Sharp 55-inch 4K HDR Google TV; and two winners of the fourth prize, a Sharp 480-litre inverter refrigerator.
Also announced was one winner of the third prize, a Sharp 65-inch 4K HDR TV; one winner for the second prize, a Sharp 500-liteside-by-side refrigerator; one winner of the first prize, a Sharp 70-inch 4K HDR Android TV; as well as the grand lucky draw prize, the Proton Saga 1.3L Standard AL.
The organiser has informed that they will contact all of the prize winners and notify them the location, date and time to collect the prizes.
All must collect their prizes before April 20, 2024.
The SCR lucky draw kicked off last September and concluded on Feb 29 this year, registering more than 10,000 entries, comprising receipts with each indicating purchases of RM36 or above made at any SCR, SCR Xpress, Chicago 7 or Yummy Xpress outlets, as well as from takeaways or via food delivery services like GrabFood or Foodpanda.
Meanwhile for this fasting month, SCR, SCR Xpress, Chicago 7 and Yummy Xpress are all running special Ramadan promotions until this April 14.
