Anta to open three new stores in the Klang Valley, East Malaysia

-

Anta Sports Products Ltd Malaysia, a global sportswear brand, plans to open three new stores in the Klang Valley and East Malaysia this year.

Anta Malaysia’s country manager Pang Sook Fong said the two stores will be opened in the Klang Valley and the third store in East Malaysia as the company’s presence in East Malaysia is still limited presently.

“So we are looking to expand in East Malaysia and other areas in the Klang Valley where we have yet to have a presence,” she told Bernama on the sidelines of the Ramadan with Anta special buka puasa media gathering in TRX yesterday.

Moving forward, Pang said the company is also targeting to expand other brands such as Salomon, Descente and Wilson this year.

“For the rest of the brands, definitely it will be expanded to the Klang Valley.

“For example, Descente, is a new brand and we will be opening a store here in TRX sometime in the second quarter of this year,” she said.

As at the end of last year, she said Anta has a total of 40 stores including its own and franchising stores in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, Anta will be organising its inaugural shoe donation campaign ‘AntaBersamaAnda’ embodying the essence of compassion and solidarity.

She said the purpose of the campaign is to give back to the community with donating preloved shoes to support the less fortunate.

“We are joining with Teach of Malaysia and Women of Will, so every pair that people donate, we will donate one Anta product to the charity organisation. — Bernama
