THE Education and Futher Studies Fair, series 36 takes off on Dec 15 and 16 at the mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kl. Held in Halls 1, 2, 3, atrium and Foyer, the Fair does not have any admission fees and is open from 11am to 6pm.

”The Fair, would be of interest to the Spm and STpm school leavers, parents, teachers, university students, working adults, members of the industry and the general public seeking higher education opportunit­ies.

They will also be able to obtain advice from educationi­sts and counsellor­s on the types of specialise­d training and academic courses available not only in malaysia but also overseas.

Visitors would be able to “shop” for courses that range from Hotel management, aviation, Broadcasti­ng, Tourism Studies, to Skill Training Options. The public is expected to discover many new options in educationa­l offerings at this Fair.

The Fair feature some special highlights inclusive of further study options in the form of Certificat­es to Diplomas, options with Skill training education and various career talks.

On Dec 15, there will be talks on careers in accounting, psychology and engineerin­g. There will also be speakers from pTpTN who will advise on pTpTN loans.

The next day, Dec 16, will feature career talks in the medicine. Education and iT industry, in the afternoon there will be a personalit­y Test conducted by a registered counsellor.

programmes by pTpTN and Higher Opportunit­ies for private Education (H.O.p.E. & T.R.a.i.N. programmes) will feature consultati­ons on scholarshi­ps and fee subsidies. There will also be consultati­ons on career and study options by Enrich Counsellin­g and Therapy Centre, conducted without a fee.

The Centre will also be giving a Career Guidance Test (Kudos) at a discounted rate.

The Fair will also feature some games such as the Spin and Win that offer prizes inclusive of the new ipad, Special Edition avengers Series 8GB USB Flash Drive and food vouchers. The Fun Quiz has electrical products, gifts, hampers and hi-tea vouchers to be won.
