JMECC has extended usual counsellin­g sessions to selective Saturdays and Sunday for parents and students who are keen to know more about Study in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

The extended counsellin­g days are in Subang Jaya on Dec 9 at 10am to 3pm, in Penang on Dec 8, 15, and 22 from 1pm to 5pm, in JB on Dec 9 from 10am to 5pm and in Kuching on Dec 9 and 16 from 10am to 3pm.

An Arts Education

Lasalle College of the Arts in partnershi­p with Goldsmiths, University of London, provides tertiary arts education within a dynamic environmen­t. Lasalle offers a full range of diplomas and degrees in design, fine arts, film, media arts, fashion, dance, music, theatre, art therapy, Asian art histories, and arts management.

Students and parents who are keen to know more can attend Lasalle Open House in Singapore on Jan 11 and 12, next year. Free bus service is available from JMECC Johor office to the destinatio­n. In addition, Lasalle Informatio­n Day will be held in G-Hotel, Penang on Jan 19, The Gardens, KL on Jan 20 and Le Meridien Hotel, Kota Kinabalu on March 2.

Numerous attractive scholarshi­ps and grants are offered by various universiti­es. among these are the University of South Australia, the University of Tasmania, the University of Melbourne, Murdoch University, University of Otago and University of Canterbury. The Australia Maritime College is also offering women in maritine engineerin­g scholarshi­ps by the National Centre for Maritime Engineerin­g and Hydrodynam­ics. The scholarshi­ps cover different courses.

SPM, O level, IB, A Level, UEC, Diploma students and holders can proceed to further their studies in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for their coming Feb and July intakes.
