York St John University’s Fountains Learning Centre is a three-story state-of-the-art learning centre which houses resources of all kinds, including books, journals, media materials, archives and IT. There are also teaching rooms fitted out with PCs, facilities to connect laptops, plus rooms for group work and silent study areas for quiet reading.
In 2011, the three floors of the library have been modernized during this major £1.1 million invest- ment project to enhance student learning, but the most significant changes have taken place on the ground floor.
