Improve your brain fitness

-

IT has been said that fit brains learn better and allow accelerated learning.

Neuroscience research shows that for successful learning in the 21st century, one needs to be not just physically, but also brain fit.

To cope in today’s fast-changing environment, individuals have to be equipped with skills such as language competency, critical reasoning, divergent thinking, the ability to see patterns and a deep awareness of one’s situation.

These skills coupled, with a resilient spirit, can build a strong foundation that leads to creativity and confidence.

KidzGrow is a one-stop centre with a range of powerful research-based programmes which have been scientifically proven to help students think faster, remember more, focus longer and learn better.

There are currently two KidzGrow centres in Malaysia – one located in Sri Hartamas (Kuala Lumpur) and the other in Weld Quay (Penang).

The first step towards helping children maximise their learning potential would be to assess their learning profile. This helps to identify cognitive skills. KidzGrow’s programmes are short and intensive. They run over a period of six to eight weeks and have a success rate of over 95%. The programme equips children with the core skills needed to learn effectively and efficiently.

The programmes are grounded on neuroscience research based on neuroplasticity, where the brain’s ability to change when given the right stimulation is studied.

All children can be highly creative, bright, and intelligent.

If they are under-performing in school regardless of the amount of assistance provided, they probably need to get brain fit.

Many times, their learning issues are unfairly attributed to a lack of motivation or plain laziness.

Investing in a child’s underlying skills can have great effect in strengthening and sharpening his or her competitive edge in the future.
