Earning a law or biz degree at BAC
IT is common knowledge that business and law degrees are among the most versatile degrees in the world, making them popular choices.
To meet the growing demand for such courses, Brickfields Asia College (BAC) offers over 50 law and business programmes, providing the fastest and smartest way to pre-university and undergraduate qualifications.
Having sent more than 6,500 graduates into practice, BAC has established itself as a first-class education provider.
This is reinforced by the college’s stellar track record, which includes over 200 world and National Top Student Awards, Book Prize winners, First Class and Second Uppers over the past two years alone.
Brickfields Law School
BAC is reputed for being the nation’s No.1 law school, producing many top students and award winners.
In 2011 and 2012, BAC students secured 42 First Class LLB (Hons) degrees and over 160 Second Class Uppers.
For the past eight years, BAC students have dominated the CLP examinations, winning the overall Top Student Award for each of those years as well as 45 out of 55 Book Prize winners.
BAC is also one of the first institutions in the nation to offer two routes to a law degree – the University of London International Programme (UoL) and the UK Transfer Degree Programme (Law) – which are recognised by the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia (LPQB) and the Law Society in Britain.
Students who wish to pursue their degree in Malaysia can opt for the UoL programme.
This programme also has the distinction as being the only “external” law degree that is recognised by the LPQB.
The UK Programme (Law) is perfect for students interested in studying in Britain while graduating with an internationally recognised degree from one of BAC’s prestigious partner universities.
This programme enables students to complete their first and/or second year of their degree in Malaysia ( 2 + 1 or 1 + 2), thus reducing the cost of their education.
Students can subsequently transfer to any of BAC’s partner universities to complete the final year of their degree.
Brickfields Business School
BAC also offers a UK Transfer Degree Programme in Business which works the same way as its Law counterpart. The transfer programme offers students a choice of over 30 degrees ranging from the most common (Business Management) to the unconventional (Festival and Events Management, Entrepreneurship, Logistics and Supply Chain Management) from a range of top-notch universities such as De Montfort University, Keele University, Southampton Solent University, Northumbria University, Glyndwr University, University of Central Lancashire, Birmingham City University, University of Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire College.
Students will study modules in areas such as economics, accounting, management, marketing and communications, together with other electives during their time at BAC.
This programme also allows students to complete up to two years of a three-year internationally recognised business degree in Malaysia, saving up to RM150,000.
The UK Transfer Degree Programme (Business) offers a firm grounding in fundamental business concepts before branching out into specific fields as BAC provides a comprehensive educational experience that involves not only the acquisition of skills and knowledge, but also the cultivation of a mindset that emphasises entrepreneurship and innovation.
The variety of programmes offered by BAC is complemented by its highly qualified and significantly experienced teaching faculty.
The college’s state-of-the-art facilities, such as a comprehensive library and research centre, computer labs, moot court, gymnasium and the Sky Garden Sports Café, all contribute towards a holistic education experience.
BAC also operates two luxurious but reasonably-priced student accommodation centres – Mutiara Residency and BAC Residences.

other forms of financial assistance include zero interest instalment payment schemes, PTPTN loans and EPF withdrawals.
