Let the robots do your work
TIRED of sweeping and mopping? iRobot has the answer – this (wet and dry) robotic cleaning system with cleaning power will amaze you, and is designed to work every day.
iRobot’s fabulous team of dustbusting Roomba and its grimefighting partner Scooba will gladly rid the home of unwanted filth.
Most importantly, you no longer need to spend your precious time doing the dirty work; just push a button and the robots are off to work.
iRobot Roomba
Since 2002, Roomba has been helping families around the world to clean their home. Roomba is smart, efficient and can lift up dirt, dust, pet hair, crumbs and other debris from floors. Roomba even works on carpets and self-adjusts its cleaning head.
It automatically navigates around the home, cleaning under the furniture thoroughly.
Roomba’s patented three-stage cleaning system is inclusive of a spinning side-brush that cleans along the walls, two counter-rotating brushes that capture large debris and a powerful vacuum to pick dust and small particles.
Roomba’s fifth generation is designed for daily use as it does not overheat and you don’t need to fear the Roomba falling down the stairs, getting stuck on wires or carpet tassels.
Instead of the usual bin used in vacuum cleaners, Roomba has a bagless dirtbin, hence saving you cost as you only need to wash the filter.
Roomba can also automatically return itself to its charging station if the battery is too low or upon completing a cleaning cycle.
Roomba’s exclusive Dirt Detect sensors will tell it to work more intensively at dirtier areas.
A built-in clock and scheduling function allows the homeowner to set the daily work times.
The New Roomba 780 is an update on the previous Roomba 500 Series and has several new features including:
– Extended-Life Power Management for runtime up to four hours, covering up to 3,000 sq ft (280sq m) per full charge.
– AeroVac Series 2 Bin with Dual HEPA Air Filters vigorously pull debris and hair off brushes and captures dust particles as fine as 0.3 microns for fresher, healthier air.
– A light-up “Dirtbin Full” indicator to know when to empty the robot.
– Improved Dirt Detect Series 2 technology that uses optical sensors apart from the usual acoustic sensor.
– A rubberised soft-touch bumper to protect delicate furniture from the robot bumping into it.
– Advanced cleaning head designed to be efficient and robust.
– Touch pad user interface
iRobot Scooba
It’s a natural process for anyone to wash the floor with water after sweeping or vacuuming. And this is where the floor-washing robot Scooba comes in handy.
In 2005, iRobot Scooba was introduced and it uses a four-stage cleaning system to wash and scrub your sealed hardwood, tile, linoleum and marble floors.
Conventional mopping just pushes dirty water around but Scooba uses only clean water to wash floors every time, while the collected dirty water is stored separately.
Scooba even washes beneath cabinet edges, tables, chairs and other hard-to-reach places.
