The heat is on

INNOVATED from the best technology from the United Sates, Solarwave uses unique Evacuated Tube and Heat Pipe technologies to adeptly harness the power of the sun and provide you with quick, continuous supply of hot water.

Embodied within its design are efficiency and sustainability, prerequisites for contemporary home living.

The Solarwave’s solar collector, in a cylindrical shape design, is neatly arranged in a manifold structure so that it would have a wider angle of exposure and absorb more sunlight throughout the day.

Besides its physical appearance, Solarwave’s solar collector has a technology edge to it. It applies vacuum as an insulation medium.

This will ensure prevention of heat-loss to the atmosphere, especially during rainy days or night time, while enhancing continuous heat absorption by the copper core element within the solar collector so that transmission of the solar converted-heat energy into the Hot Water Tank could be in a nonreversal single direction only.

As a result, it achieves a heat preservation up to three to four days regardless of the outdoor weather condition.

The entire structure of Solarwave’s solar collector and Hot Water Tank does not operate under pressurised condition, while the installation does not require removal of any roof tiles.

Besides better heating performance and heat-loss prevention, Solarwave is also efficient in conserving and utilising its heat energy from the sun so that hot water could be produced at all times.

This is achieved through its most unique Hot Water Tank design and working mechanism.

The Hot Water Tank is enveloped with a 60mm-thick high-quality polyurethane (PU) foam that works as its insulation material.

It features an Inner Coil immersed within that is made of high-pressure copper conduit and is noted best for heat conduction.

The Inner Coil ensures that the cold water never mixes with the hot water while in the tank.

This helps in achieving better consistency in maintaining the water temperature and continuous supply of hot water.

The cold water actually flows directly into the Inner Coil, which has a linear length of up to 25m, and is then instantly heated by the surrounding hot water in the tank while passing through.

Hot water is produced immediately with no loss in pressure and in unlimited volume. The solar-converted heat energy is conserved and consumed in a wiser way.

Even when there’s high family usage, using hot showers at night or rainy days, Solarwave ensures that the hot water would remain warm all the time.

With its distinctive quality and performance, Solarwave was the winner of HOMEDEC Quality Award 2009 after being recognised by a panel of jury judging on the prod- uct’s functionality, design, pricing and environmental-friendly criterion. Solarwave is presented by Hydro One Marketing Snd Bhd.
