Second generation laminate: 2G Double Laminate
Double Laminate namely Kronoloc is made of aqua-resist high density board (HDF) topped with a high-resolution photographic image of natural wood. It is then finished with an extremely hard overlay to protect the panel.
Its exclusive feature uses a patented technology application to provide additional hard overlay and décor paper at the bottom of the core panel. The added advantage of double lamination ultimately protects against expansion and contraction due to changes in humidity.
In the long run, flooring with double laminate creates a perfect balance between the top and bottom layers of the panel so that the floor stays even, stable and comfortable.
Third generation laminate: 3G real veneer laminate
It’s a superb real veneer for K2N Super Engineered Flooring that has changed how the natural beauty of real wood flooring is manufactured today. It uses less precious timber material compared with traditional engineered flooring.
The structure consists of four layers – the top layer is an anti-abrasive solid overlay while the second layer is natural real wood veneer. An aqua-resist high density board (HDF) makes up the third layer and the fourth layer is made up of a moisture-resistant balancing film.
Fourth generation laminate: 4G waterproof and termite-proof laminate
The Chamwood Flooring is engineered to withstand extreme humidity and repel termite infestations. It is made from synthetic resins, a premium grade composite material, laminated with a wear-resistant top layer.
