It will also conduct the exciting ‘Throw & Win’ game offering great prizes and showcasing a wide range of Pallas school shoes, Mickey kids wear and Jazz Star colour canvas shoes at its booth.

Nestle has come in with 1,000 T-shirts, 12,000 cups of Fitnesse Cereal and cash sponsorshi­p. The iconic Milo van will be supplying 15,000 cups of refreshing delicious chocolate malt drink to participan­ts.

The company is proud to be associated with Starwalk that is participat­ed by people from diverse background, culture and race, a reflection of its values to encourage society to play sports and fully embrace life.

Participan­ts also stand to win gold and silver wafers sponsored by Public Gold Marketing for the lucky draw. The first-time sponsor is also topping its contributi­ons with cash, 19,000 goodie bags and 1,000 T-shirts.

The grand prize for the draw is a 50gm gold bar worth RM7,500 while the second and third prizes consist of a 1kg silver bar worth RM3,000 and a 10gm gold bar worth RM1,500 respective­ly.

To keep walkers hydrated and feeling refreshed are 42,000 cups of thirst quencher 100Plus drinks by F&N which has been associated with Starwalk since the event started in Penang 36 years ago.

100Plus is to rejuvenate and recharge the participan­ts after completing the walk. The company is also sponsoring 1,000 T-shirts and 100 six-can packs of the drink as prizes for the competitio­n category winners.

Tired walkers can relieve their aches and pain with the Salonpas Patch 2’s sponsored by Delfi Marketing, which donated 16,000 pieces of the pain reliever and 2,000 T-shirts.

Participan­ts can also try out the company’s products and buy them at its booth.
