ESSEC Business School, Asia-Pacific announced the launch of its new Executive MBA (EMBA) Asia-Pacific programme for 2014.
ESSEC Business School is a leading academic institution in Europe with campuses in Paris and Singapore, and offices in Beijing, Hyderabad and Tokyo.
The school has been pioneering Executive MBA programmes in Europe for more than 20 years and partnered with Mannheim Business School since 2004.
In 2013, the ESSEC-Mannheim Executive MBA programme was ranked 16th in the world by The Economist.
The launching of the Asia-Pacific Executive MBA programme is a clear testimony of ESSEC’s commitment to management education in Asia based out of its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
Founded on ESSEC’s outstanding heritage in business, economics and political sciences education, this uniquely designed Executive MBA Asia-Pacific aims to capture the realism and relevancy of the growth and diversities of Asian economies with a global outlook.
Participants will be able to fully develop their potential, acquire new skills and deepen their knowledge in a wider spectrum of business leadership in Asia.
ESSEC Executive MBA Asia-Pacific is a 15-month course comprising a combination of lectures, residencies and team projects across the world.
The programme is uniquely structured to help participants achieve their goals without impinging on their work commitments.
A sense of collaboration is core to the programme’s approach of helping participants develop their talents and maximise their potential.
The course of study will leverage on ESSEC’s world-class faculty from Singapore and France as well as its partnerships with highly regarded universities in Japan, South Korea, China, India, Malaysia and Bahrain.
The programme is delivered mainly in Singapore with residencies in Shanghai, China and New York, the United States. Classes will be conducted over six consecutive days every five/ six weeks throughout the duration of the programme.

The ESSEC EMBA Asia-Pacific programme has been designed on three pillars to help the next generation of visionary business leaders and managers shape and emphasise their talents:
Pillar 1
– A unique cutting-edge curriculum comprising classes such as New Business Models in Asia, Innovation Strategies in Asia, Brand Management Using Digital Marketing and Social Networks.
– A pan-Asian core with global reach.
– A strong network of corporate partners and Alumni undertaking business challenges in Asia and all around the world.
The programme comprises 21 courses of study (or modules), two international residencies and an entrepreneurial project. Participants will have access to top-class resources and academic aids especially from ESSEC Asia-Pacific’s leading research institutes such as the Institute for Research and Education on Negotiation (IRENE) Asia-Pacific, the Institute for Strategic Innovation and Services (ISIS) Asia-Pacific, and the Institute for Health Economics and Management (IHEM) Asia-Pacific.

The first intake of executive students will start in October 2014. Application is now open and will close on June 29, 2014.
Applicants are required to hold a good academic degree from a reputable institution, have attained a level of fluency in English and have worked for at least seven years.
