THE long-awaited holiday season is just weeks away, calling for all to celebrate love and togetherness among family and friends. This Christmas and New Year, DoubleTree by Hilton KL invites guests to take pleasure in the sumptuous cuisines prepared by their chefs.

Makan Kitchen
A true showcase of Malaysian dining, Makan Kitchen is filled with various culinary actions where specialty chefs dish up no less than six local cuisines.
For this year’s festive season, Makan Kitchen brings a unique dining experience that blends the local cuisines with Western holiday offerings.
This restaurant and banquet kitchen are certified halal.

Favourites include fresh seafood on crushed ice, a sushi and sashimi selection as well as a Christmas and New Year’s Eve carving station with oven-roast turkey and slow-cooked lamb.
Guests will also be presented with choices of desserts, including DoubleTree by Hilton KL’s special Christmas pudding, rhubarb blueberry crumble and Christmas pannatone.
Tosca
The hotel’s Italian Trattoria offers a perfect twist of Italian for this year’s celebration dinners.
On Christmas Eve, a sumptuous array of dishes including pan-roast lemon sole, turkey and truffle roulade and Christmas chocolate tart, just to name a few, will be presented to guests.

The Five-Course New Year’s Eve Dinner will showcase delicious options of grilled Wagyu beef sirloin steak, oven-roast Chilean sea bass and a dark chocolate and raspberry mousse – all perfectly paired with fine wines including Chardonnay, Prosecco, Pinotage, Merlot and Muscat for those in favour of the wine pairing arrangement.
The Food Store
A great addition to the Tosca and Makan Kitchen offerings is the selection of wonderful holiday treats that can be found at The Food Store, the hotel’s bakery cum deli.
This month, an impressive arrangement of Christmas takeaway goodies is made available for a quick holiday fix.
The special twin-packed DoubleTree signature chocolate chip cookies, which is everyone’s favourite, Christmas minced pie, Christmas chocolate Yule log cake, Christmas fondant fruit cake, Christmas red velvet cake or Christmas almond stollen are perfect for sharing with family and friends.
The Food Store also offers the option to order takeaway holiday specialties such as 5kg Slow-roasted Whole US Turkey, Oven-roasted Australian 120Day Grain Fed Beef Rib Eye and Makan Kitchen’s signature 2.2kg Roasted Duck.
Cellar Door
Celebrate a new beginning with DoubleTree by Hilton KL during the New Year’s Eve “Countdown Party!” on Dec 31.
Guests will enjoy an evening of celebration with drinks, snacks and music between 6pm and 2am. DJ Spinning will be setting the tone with funky tunes ranging from retro to the latest beats.
From 9pm onwards, DJ Nimbus will take over the stage with uplifting music that will exude a good vibe among fellow guests.
Cellar Door & Axis Lounge
It is time to “Get Bubbly!” at the hotel’s Cellar Door & Axis Lounge with the delicious mix of Champagne Cocktail for an ideal welcome to the festive season. This offer is available throughout the month at RM55++ per person.
