STARTING kindergarten is always an exciting moment for both children and parents. It is also vital that one chooses the right kindergarten, as the preschool period is probably the most crucial stage in a child’s development process.

Multiple Intelligences approach
It is also the pioneer in incorporating the theory of Multiple Intelligences as a learning approach (founded by Dr Howard Gardner) in preschool education in Malaysia.
This approach aims to identify and acknowledge the different, inherent strengths in each child and to teach them based on their individual strengths.
For instance, a child who possesses “verbal linguistic” intelligence (word smart) would learn best through activities such as word games, rhyme recitation and telling stories.
