IT is proven that humans perform well in difficult and complex tasks. But when it comes to effectiveness of repetitive works, no human can beat a machine. Introducing the terraBot, a machine designed to do a repetitive task well: Floor cleaning.
This intelligent, reliable and yet affordable “robot” is the result of collaboration between some of the best robotic engineers in Japan and China.
The terraBot BL21A series is the flagship of the terraBot top-of-the-line BL series powered by ARM Cortex-M3 processor made by ST-Ericsson. Its intelligent navigation system is capable of capturing real-time data and calculates the most relevant cleaning motion to each space.
The terraBot is fitted with sensors that detect obstacles from a distance, reducing the likelihood of it bumping into your furniture.
It also comes with a detachable micro-fibre mopping pad on the bottom to wipe off stuck dirt. The terraBot is capable of picking up pet hair, dust, dirt and other debris from most types of hard floor. Its extra long side brush enables it to clean along the walls and furniture.
The terraBot’s effective cleaning mechanism (sweeping, vacuuming, sterilising and mopping floor concurrently) will leave floors with a sterilised and freshly mopped feeling.
The noise level of the terraBot is as low as the noise level in an office. This makes the terraBot one of the very few robots that are suitable to be used in low noise environments such as office, hostel or at home when everyone is asleep.
Maintaining the terraBot is a breeze with its removable dustbin and brushes. Just flip it over and hit the locking bar. Removing a brush with terraBot is also easy. It comes with a choice of black and red colours and complemented by a slim body that fits well into areas below beds and sofas. It measures 32cm diameter and 8.7cm high.
TerraBot neo BL11A
Unlike Western countries, Asian homes are relatively compact and squarish. If you are living in a compact-sized home, the terraBot neo BL11A series is designed and built for such spaces. This model is suitable at home with a smaller built-up area and it is designed to sweep and vacuum. The terraBot neo has core features such as: > Anti-fall sensing system which senses stairs or drop-offs.
> Auto recharging which enables terraBot to return to its recharging station when low on power.
> Soft-touch bumper that helps sense obstacles, enable the terraBot to move away.
