eDUCATION and Further Studies Fair Series 39 will be held on March 22 and 23 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
The fair targets SPM, STPM and UEC school leavers, parents, teachers, university students, working adults, industry members and the general public seeking higher education opportunities.
The fair’s project consultant Datin Jercy Choo said, “(It is) a chance not to be missed by enthusiastic students going into undergraduate and postgraduate courses.”
She said the fair will provide all the answers to questions regarding the best colleges and universities, courses, scholarships and career options.
Information seekers will also be able to obtain the best advice from educationists and counsellors on the types of specialised training and academic courses available not only in Malaysia but also overseas.
Visitors would be able to look for courses that range from Hotel Management to Accountancy, Aviation, Pilot, Baking, Cooking, Beauty, Business Studies, Broadcasting, Law, Applied Sciences, Communication Studies, Engineering, Multimedia, IT and Computer Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Marketing, Music, Tourism Studies, Advertising, Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Dance, Nursing, Automotive, Hair-Styling, Early Childhood Education, Cabin Crew, Skill Training Options, Aptitude and Course Counselling.
Visitors are expected to discover many new options in educational offerings during the fair. Among the highlights of the fair include providing further study options for courses ranging from certificate, diploma, degree to master and PhD.
It also offers further study options on “Skill Training Education” with programmes on Automotive, Music, Baking, Cooking, Beauty, Hair-styling, just to name a few.
It will also provide consultation on scholarships and fee subsidies by PTPTN and TRAiN Programmes.
Free consultation on career and study options will also be conducted by Enrich Counselling and Therapy Centre, as well as a Career Guidance Test (Kudos) at a discounted rate.
There will also be free magazines on education and career options given out during the exhibition. There will be career talks conducted by “doctorjob’s coursesNOW!” at Function Room B.
The topics include Options after SPM, Careers in Psychology, Careers in Engineering, Careers in Gaming, PTPTN Loans, Careers in Banking Sector and How to get a Scholarship. Some of the talks are conducted in Mandarin.
Education and Further Studies Fair Series 39 will occupy Halls 1, 2, 3, the atrium and foyer of the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 11am to 6pm during the two-day event. Admission is free.
