eDUCATION and Further Studies Fair Series 39 will be held on March 22 and 23 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The fair targets SPM, STPM and UEC school leavers, parents, teachers, university students, working adults, industry members and the general public seeking higher education opportunit­ies.

The fair’s project consultant Datin Jercy Choo said, “(It is) a chance not to be missed by enthusiast­ic students going into undergradu­ate and postgradua­te courses.”

She said the fair will provide all the answers to questions regarding the best colleges and universiti­es, courses, scholarshi­ps and career options.

Informatio­n seekers will also be able to obtain the best advice from educationi­sts and counsellor­s on the types of specialise­d training and academic courses available not only in Malaysia but also overseas.

Visitors would be able to look for courses that range from Hotel Management to Accountanc­y, Aviation, Pilot, Baking, Cooking, Beauty, Business Studies, Broadcasti­ng, Law, Applied Sciences, Communicat­ion Studies, Engineerin­g, Multimedia, IT and Computer Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Marketing, Music, Tourism Studies, Advertisin­g, Graphic Design, Architectu­re, Interior Design, Dance, Nursing, Automotive, Hair-Styling, Early Childhood Education, Cabin Crew, Skill Training Options, Aptitude and Course Counsellin­g.

Visitors are expected to discover many new options in educationa­l offerings during the fair. Among the highlights of the fair include providing further study options for courses ranging from certificat­e, diploma, degree to master and PhD.

It also offers further study options on “Skill Training Education” with programmes on Automotive, Music, Baking, Cooking, Beauty, Hair-styling, just to name a few.

It will also provide consultati­on on scholarshi­ps and fee subsidies by PTPTN and TRAiN Programmes.

Free consultati­on on career and study options will also be conducted by Enrich Counsellin­g and Therapy Centre, as well as a Career Guidance Test (Kudos) at a discounted rate.

There will also be free magazines on education and career options given out during the exhibition. There will be career talks conducted by “doctorjob’s coursesNOW!” at Function Room B.

The topics include Options after SPM, Careers in Psychology, Careers in Engineerin­g, Careers in Gaming, PTPTN Loans, Careers in Banking Sector and How to get a Scholarshi­p. Some of the talks are conducted in Mandarin.

Education and Further Studies Fair Series 39 will occupy Halls 1, 2, 3, the atrium and foyer of the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 11am to 6pm during the two-day event. Admission is free.
