BRICKFIELDS Asia College (BAC) is a one-stop centre for legal education that offers the widest selection of law programmes in the nation.

Its stellar track record includes over 200 World and National Top Student Awards, Book Prize Winners, First Class and Second Uppers over the past two years. Another accolade received was Best Brand in Legal Education 2012 by the prestigious Brand Laureate.

In the last two years, 63 First Class LLB (Hons) Degrees have been awarded to BAC students. BAC students were also awarded the King’s College Scholarship three times in the past six years for the University of London International programmes.

Students can opt to pursue the LLB (Hons) via the University of London International Programmes, the only external law degree recognised by the Legal Professional Qualifying Board. This 3+0 programme allows students to complete all three years at BAC, which is one of the few Affiliate Centres for the UOL Law programme in Malaysia.

BAC also offers the UK Transfer Degree Programme (Law). Students study law in Malaysia for the first two years before transferring to one of BAC’s prestigious partner universities in Britain. Preceded by BAC’s A-Level Express Route, which takes only 11 months, this programme lets students graduate up to two years earlier, making BAC the fastest and smartest way to more than 50 British law or business degrees.

After obtaining a degree in Law, graduates may pursue the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). BAC has won more awards in CLP than all other colleges in Malaysia put together.

BAC also offers various specialist law programmes such as the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), LLMs and the recently launched Professional Law Series (PLS).

BAC constantly strives to give students the very best in education. Recently, in recognition of this, BAC was awarded the Best Brands Award for Corporate Branding in Education (Law) by BrandLaureate for the last two consecutive years (2012 and 2013) and the 2013 SME Recognition Award for Service Excellence.

BAC has the largest law faculty in Malaysia, consisting of highly qualified lecturers and experienced practitioners. Its state-of-the-art facilities, including exclusive online resources enhance the tertiary education experience. Students also receive free study materials.

BAC’s city campus comprises three premises, including the RM10mil state-of-the-art student resource centre. In addition, it operates two luxurious and reasonably priced student accommodations – Mutiara Residency and the new RM15mil BAC Residences.

BAC has added to its impressive portfolio a brand new RM80mil campus in the heart of Petaling Jaya. Unique to this new campus is the Brickfields Business School but it also offers the same programmes as the Brickfields campus.

The Brickfields Education Fund awards Merit Scholarships and Financial Aid Scholarships based on academic excellence and financial need. BAC has also collaborated with the Star Education Fund, MAPCU Education Fund and Sin Chew Education Fund.

Other forms of financial assistance include zero interest instalment payment schemes, PTPTN loans and EPF withdrawals.

BAC’s April 2014 intake is now underway and students who sign up will get a complimentary Microsoft Surface RT tablet worth RM1,099.

Students will also stand a chance to win a Lotus Elise, a Mini One or a trip to watch the FA Cup Finals in London and receive free books and study materials, workshops on speed reading, study skills and memory and gym membership worth RM7,000.
