EYE Level (formerly known as E.nopi), a leading child enrichment programme in Malaysia, recently held the Eye Level Testimonial Contest to encourage parents to share their children’s journey with Eye Level. Eye Level chairman Young Joong Kang said, “Whatever life you are living now, it is essential to give yourself a chance to perform at your top capacity. That chance derives from learning.”

Vivien Wong Matthew Lee Ziwang

Two years “Matthew started Eye Level with only the ability to count from one to 10 and recognised only some numbers.

“He can now count and write up to 20 and is very fast in counting.

“Now, when he looks at a given question (usually counting objects), he could tell how many there are just by looking.

The critical thinking portion of the lesson is also something Matthew enjoys. I would like to commend Eye Level centre SS19 Subang Jaya head, Magdelin Tay who has been very patient and responsive to all my queries since day one.”

Grace Wong Chon Pei Rayson Gan Yong Jian

Two years “Rayson was diagnosed with Dyspraxia when he was three years old.

“Since he enrolled in Eye Level at the age of six, he has shown improvement in mathematic mastery and is now able to handle addition and subtraction as well as solve some complex problems.

“It also helps develop his critical and analytical thinking skills.

“For the English programme, he has improved in pronunciation as well as vocabulary and is able to manage basic language skills. He is more confident and independent now.

“Rayson’s progress is much better than expected and I believe he is happy and enthusiastic to learn.”

Pang Ngiap Ing Pang Yixi

Two years and 10 months

“I asked Yixi if she can count from one to 100.

“Without much effort Yixi started to count loudly. That was when she was four.

“Yixi memorised the numbers like singing a rhyme.

“I decided to source for education to help Yixi understand mathematics better.

“After researching, Eye Level seems to be a better choice – Critical Thinking made the difference.

“Besides understanding basic math, she learned to understand patterns and logical thinking.

“One day, she finished a 60-piece puzzle by herself and slowly started to complete other puzzles as well.

“This was after a year in Eye Level. Now she can also count backward from 100 to one.”

Sue Ching Oh Ying Pei

One year and seven months

“Ying Pei started Eye Level Maths at Sri Petaling Center (KL) in August 2012 at five years old.

“Prior to Eye Level Maths, she had to use fingers doing simple addition.

“After being in Eye Level for over a month, she was able to do it confidently without using fingers.

“Eye Level Maths has strengthened her basic maths in systematic and conceptual ways.

“Furthermore, the booklets feature colourful pictures, which make learning fun.

“She has just completed her Level 5 in Basic Maths and is advancing to Level 6 now.

“What amazed me in Level 5 was the conceptual skills applied.

“I chose Eye Level also because of the additional Critical Thinking booklet. It helps her to think out of the box.

“Most importantly, parents are required to work with the teachers as the child progresses.”
