Gentle solution for eczema
IF you or your children have eczema, you need to choose the right moisturiser. Those suffering from eczema tend to have skin that has the tendency to itch and be inflamed when triggered by day-to-day allergens that do not affect those with normal or dry skin.
Using over-the-counter moisturisers for dry skin is not suited for skin with eczema and could worsen the condition.
Moisturisers are mainly formulated with “occlusive agents” to cover your baby’s delicate skin with a layer of oil that helps prevent excessive water loss – keeping the skin moist.
Some brands of moisturisers have added “humectant agents”, which attract moisture from the environment to hydrate the skin. Eczema skin is sensitive to harmful ingredients such as added fragrance, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), artificial colouring, animal proteins and parabens.
Atopiclair is recommended by dermatologists and paediatricians worldwide as a specialised moisturiser to treat eczema without steroids in babies, children and adults.
A French product manufactured in Italy, it can be used on its own or in combination with conventional medications.
Long-lasting moisturising effect
It is clinically proven to help relieve itchy and inflamed skin while providing a longlasting moisturising effect.
It restores the natural oils of the skin and is also suitable for nappy rash.
Atopiclair is not a drug and is not a steroid, though it reduces the sensitivity of inflamed skin and helps to relieve burning, itching and pain by protecting it from further irritation.
Daily use of Atopiclair may also help reduce the dependency on steroid creams to control itch and inflammation.
In a 43-day clinical study in babies, children and adults, it was shown that more than 90% of Atopiclair users did not require help from steroid creams when they applied Atopiclair three times a day.
As a tip, apply Atopiclair before your baby goes to sleep at night to help reduce scratching at night and for better sleep.
A mild stinging sensation can sometimes be felt upon the first few applications of Atopiclair. This happens especially when your baby’s skin is highly inflamed. Do not worry as it will go away after a few applications.
Calm, protect and repair
Atopiclair is formulated with key ingredients with CPR properties to “calm, protect and repair” eczema skin.
Apart from having just occlusive and humectant agents, Atopiclair is richly formulated with anti-inflammation, anti-itch, anti-protease and antioxidant agents working hard to calm, protect and repair eczema prone skin.
When used as directed, it can help relieve the itching, burning and discomfort in atopic and hypersensitive skin. It is even documented in published clinical trials that it provides itch relief within minutes.
Atopiclair offers powerful hydration and long-lasting moisture. It can prevent excessive trans-epidermal water loss for up to 72 hours and restore the natural oils in the skin.
