Sharp’s new six pack

shARP is introducing a new family of six mid-high volume monochrome MFPs (multifunction printers) in two distinct varieties — Advanced and Essentials series.

this new group of MFPs makes it easy for businesses to choose the performance and features best suited for their environment. they will replace the MX-M363/M453/ M503 series in sharp’s current product lineup.

the Advanced series, namely the new MX-M365N, MXM465N and MX-M565N, support true Adobe Postscript 3 network printing out of the box, as well as a new content management system called Cloud Portal office which not only allows subscribers to store files on the Cloud, but access them from a variety of devices.

the Essentials series, on the other hand, which includes the MX-M364N, MX-M464N and MXM564N, supports standard multifunction capabilities, including copying, PCL6 network printing and colour network scanning.

the Essentials series also provides 256-bit data encryption for better security, seven-times overwrite protection and an Endof-Lease feature that erases user data and job history when the printer is being retired or traded in.

the model numbers in the Advanced and Essentials series denote the print speed — for example, the MX-M365N and MXM364N output at 36ppm (pages per minute) while the higher-end models, the MX-M565N and MXM564N, have maximum print speeds of 56ppm. ++++ www.sharp.com.my
