A contemporary watch showcase brings attention to this year’s desirable timepiece novelties.
RETURNING for the second year is Time Kulture, Swiss Watch Gallery’s showcase of fascinating timepieces. The theme being Beyond Time, it draws inspiration from an idea that watches play a prevalent role in one’s daily life.
Not just mere instruments for measuring time, watches are also essential accessories that complement a lifestyle. Time Kulture thus provides a platform for both men and women to find the perfect timepiece to suit their different needs.
The contemporary showcase which opens today and runs till Aug 24 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, presents a wide array of international brands. These include Maurice Lacroix, Alpina, Frédérique Constant, Longines, Oris, Tag Heuer, Tissot and Tudor.
Ashvin Valiram, executive director of Valiram-owned Swiss Watch Gallery said, “Time Kulture is about the lifestyle that connects the penchant for watches that are a necessary part of everyday life, whether to complete one’s stylish ensemble, be it while one is hiking a mountain or diving 30m under the sea.
“Time Kulture will premiere the top picks from Basel 2014. It is a platform for a seamless interactive showcase where consumers will have first-hand access to many timepieces which will debut here.”
Look out for some exciting selections of iconic, sporty, classic, edgy and stylish watches. Visitors will also have access to demonstrations on various techniques of testing, and other exciting activities.
There is also a host of preferential privileges and activities curated specially for this showcase, plus an offer of professional advice from Swiss Watch Gallery’s watch associates who have their finger on the pulse of the industry.
Swiss Watch Gallery watch specialists are said to attend the yearly SIHH and Basel watch trade fairs and undergo regular brand training to ensure that they keep abreast of developments in the timepiece industry.
The 502sq m exhibition area features a line-up of leading Swiss brands in an open-plan setting, with each brand having outfitted its own “booth” to stay true to its specific DNA.
