WORKING professionals with undergraduate degrees can expand their horizons or become experts in their fields through postgraduate study at Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia.

Postgraduate studies are a growing area of Curtin Sarawak and hold huge potential for future growth given the large number of professionals in the oil and gas industry in Miri.

There is also a demand for highly skilled professionals and experts for industries within the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).

At Curtin Sarawak, one can choose to complete a range of postgraduate studies. Students eligible for postgraduate study are also given the options to do it via research or coursework.

Its School of Business offers graduate certificates, graduate diplomas and a master’s in project management, all of which are by coursework. This helps students gain the understanding, knowledge and skills necessary to become effective project managers.

There is also a PhD programme by research on offer.

The programme is identical in all aspects to the one offered at Curtin’s main campus in Perth, Western Australia, and adopts a generic approach to project management.

It is therefore, applicable to a variety of industries, including construction, engineering, education, health, commerce, information technology and research and development.

Furthermore, the qualifications are awarded under the Australian Qualifications Framework and are accredited by the Australian government.

The qualifications are recognised throughout Australia by virtue of Curtin Sarawak’s self-accreditation status granted by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
