JUST four months following the launch of Lexus Malaysia’s outlet in Sarawak, the Toyota’s luxury arm now makes its presence felt in Ipoh, Perak.

Located along Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Lexus Ipoh is double story building with an area of 30,000sq ft and staffed by 16 employees.

While up to four Lexus vehicles can be showcased on the main floor, the new building also features a mezzanine floor and a roof top stockyard along with a service centre and four service bays.

The new facility in Ipoh is part of a RM90mil effort by Lexus Malaysia to expand its current network.

Lexus Malaysia has already targeted to open its eighth outlet in Malacca in the final quarter of the year.

According to UMW Toyota Motor president Datuk Ismet Suki, the opening of these Lexus outlets does not only mark the expansion of the brand, but also brings the marque closer to its customers.

“The Lexus Customer Experience is legendary and incorporates with the art of Japanese hospitality.

“It starts when you visit the Lexus showroom for the first time, and continues at every step of the way after you purchase your first Lexus,” said Ismet.

There are currently seven Lexus outlets in total.
