DEVELOPMENT of the business world through multinational corporations (MNCs) operating in more than one country with different business and marketing approaches around the world led to an increased demand for talent with international expertise.
International Business refers to the study of issues and problem that arise from the management of international, multinational and global organisations.
Among the top MNCs operating in Malaysia are Petronas, Shell, Intel, DHL, Celcom Axiata, Maxis, Hewlett Packard, KPMG International, Western Digital, Ernst & Young and Toyota.
To complement the needs of highly skilled human capital in areas of international business, the Management & Sciences University (MSU) offers the Bachelor in International Business through its Faculty of Business Management & Professional Studies (FBMP)
The programme has been developed to prepare students for the dynamic field of international business and business management. International business students are greatly valued by employers for their analytical skills and academic approach.
The programme places emphasis on social, political, economic, regulatory, tax, cultural, legal and technological aspects.
The university aspires to provide education that will enhance employability of its graduates and at the same time enrich the students’ learning experience with ethical and moral values.
While ensuring the requirements of academically qualified faculty members are being met, MSU further fortifies its brand image through the deployment of international visiting professors and institutional collaborations.
Global exposure through MSU’s Global Mobility Programme (GMP) unit will further strengthen graduates’ professional standing. Through GMP, students have the option of transferring for final-year studies at foreign universities which are partners of MSU.
